Penang Island  Food Heaven

An Easy 4 hours leisure ride from Kuala Lumpur

I usually would go to Penang at least once a year to get away from the hectic city life of KL. One of the best place for hawker food namely Fried Kuay Teow (Stir fried rice noodle with sea clams), Oyster Omelet, Pasambur (mixed salad) and of course Penang Hokkien Mee (Prawn noodle). Beach is no first class as island is close to mainland. Then again, no place in Malaysia offers the combination of good food and decent  beaches

Another beautiful Pearl of the Orient sunset

This is not Penang but Langkawi Island, north of Penang. The 'Jetty' was constructed for  movie Anna and the King.
