Genting Sunday Ride

11 Sept 2011

Today happens to be one of the most significant anniversary in the world. Everyone knows 911 as the catalyst to war on terror. Like the bombing on Pearl Harbor by Japs, which forced USA to join WWII, the event saw people turning on each other, killing each other. Sad. Weather is gloomy as it know someone out there is mourning for his or her love ones.  Amen.

Chee Leong bites the bullet again and declares he has sold off his Z1000. Bin looks on pondering when he would say the same to his aging ER6n. Since our last group ride to Melaka, Raymond dumped  his year old mistress named ER6f and  took in a spanking new and cute Tigress. He hopes that the new English lady would be more erotic than his old Japanese whose moans are way too soft . Never trust those dang Jap AVs. Then again, one Mr Yoshimura benefits from the soft moans ..  everyone wants his mistress to roar not moans ..

I want to ride my Z750s but the bike is floored by a dead battery which says how much I been neglecting the poor Zed.  The earlier rain washed off most dirt and grime off the road. A good excuse to ride harder. I leave behind the GS' top box  as I find the bike's handling is way better  without the box doing cornering.

We have a good time riding to Ulu Yam as traffic is light and the road surface offers plenty of grip. Chee Leong is enjoying his final fling with his Zed1K.

The fine clear weather takes a complete turn when we reach. Awana. I suppose the on-going haze cuts down plenty of sun ray which in turn causes the popular hill resort to be much cooler. Adding in the current unusual wet spell, the road leading to the hill top is totally fogged up. At some point, I can hardly see anything beyond 20m ahead. I am more worry about oil/diesel patches on road. Not taking in any fat chances, we ride like our bikes are suffering tire punctures.

Our coffee joint is no better. Too much fog and freaking cold .  But superb to hold a cup of hot coffee and enjoy drinking it

Till next time. Hope to ride with a Tigress .. soon and hear her roars ..
