We joined Kelvin and Gang as there were only 3 of us showed up at Shell. Sunny threw a surprise by showing up for a Sunday ride. I haven't meet him riding on Sundays ever before. He was eager to show-off his brand new F800GS with barely 400km in the engine. He had bought the detuned F650GS earlier but sold it for this hunkier version. The F800GS has better power with better brakes and suspensions compared to the watered-down F650GS. The new bike would be a better weapon to Cambodia compared to his current aging Suzuki DR800S.
Everyone was surprised to see him at Genting ..and we had a good laugh when everyone shouted "hey .. Jin Shing's dad is here" and even more laughers and claps when Sunny Jr showed up much later. I could see Sunny Jr aka Jin Shing was too surprised to see his dad sipping coffee at Coffee Beans
It rained again as we were about to make the ride back. It was a Formula 1 race weekend and I wanted to get home in time to watch it on tele. With underdogs Brawn GP dominated the qualifying a day earlier, I was hoping they would win therace and make history. Well, they did with a fantastic 1-2 finishes. Simply awesome first 2009 F1 race and I think the 2nd race at Sepang would be even hotter.
