Genting Highlands Weekend Ride

5 July 2009

My first ride with my new bike to Genting. Despite only logging in some 2200km  (yeah.. I know it is very little) with it, I gotten used to riding it to near my limits. I was already taking the curves far faster than my Zed. The bulk did not seem to matter much. Probably it got much to do with the diving (or lack of it) of front wheel. The telelever suspensions worked wonders. Some may feel the system take off the feel of riding a bike but I was able to dive into corners and exit from them much faster and smoother.

Rashid made a surprise appearance after months of missing in action. The morning rain at about 4am did a bit of road cleaning. The roads were still a little damp when we shoot off from Shell station but the freshly cleaned road gave good road grips.  We had a good blast to the hill. Batman aka Deng was already munching on his breakfast when we arrived at CB&TL. Apparently, he got up late (again) and decided to shoot off straight to meet up.

The mid day cloudy sky was perfect for riding and we all except Mohan agreed to head up to Berjaya's hill resort for another round of motorcycling ecstasy before heading home.
