Anticipated rain and rain we got
.. anyway, the ride to Sg Tekala near Semenyih Dam in Hulu Langat was good.
Batman's friend, Jeffrey
owns a fish pond at Sg Tekala with mainly Talapia (hybrid
of Oreochromis mossambicus and Oreochromis niloticus niloticus)
as stock. Our lunch menu of the day was fresh talapia barbeque. Rashid came with his spanking 1150GS and
even happily dropped his bike
to the ground to show off how tough his 1150GS is. Not to be outdone, fellow
Shah Alam resident Bud came too with his newly purchased
R1. The brave ones had a good time frolicking in Sg Tekala. Batgurl came prepared with shampoo, conditioner and shower gel !
Alas, the not so
brave ones were contented to hiding in the hut and feeding the talapia with food pallets ..
We had a sumptuous meal of fresh talapia barbeque, fried chicken and barbequed mutton. As anticipated, heavy rain greeted most of us on the return journey back. I even continued riding to Putrajaya to collect my Petronas-sponsored F1 tickets. For once, the china-made rain suit leaked like our Parliament's roof and I was completely soaked inside out when I got home.
