We had a great morning and an equally great turn-out. Morning was clear and everyone was in great spirits. Mohan came with more accessories fixed to his Z750s. I remembered well that he wasn't going to do anything to his bike exhaust... and now he had a beautiful Yoshi Tri-oval installed to make the in-line 4 engine sing better. I would ditch the MP3 player if I am him. Who needs that music crap if the pipe is making great sound especially when revving past 10K RPM. That's what I call total riding experience. Zain came prepared to have his foot-pegs wrapped with used inner rubber tubes. Well, actually he was prepared to secure his pegs so that he could to attack those blinding corners and bends in Batang Kali. I guessed with the king of cruiser title up for grab, he wasn't ready to loose the 2manship title to Mr Vulcan. Mr Vulcan had boasted one too many times about how he scrapped his pegs ...err while trying to catch up with us... Meanwhile, Ivan and Phang finally came out of hibernation. They had not been riding (for fun) since our Johor trip almost two months ago. And, about Chin ... I remembered he was complaining about his previous bike, a BMW RT, being too heavy for the China road trip.. and now he is saying that his new GS is too light for touring.. Phang would be too happy to scrap off 20 kg off his burly 1100GS. Solution, buy one more RT? We all here volunteer to help you charge the batteries in case you have one butt too few to ride the bikes Dan, in effort to chase Zain, had his muffler end cap blown off. It was a funny sight to see he cracked the bike throttle opened and subsequently the end cap came flying through the air ... heck with the 'open' pipe, his bike sounded great.
Already past Christmas, Batman was still in ho- ho- ho mood giving out limited-edition Bagster baseball caps.. where is Batgurl ? we missed her ...
