Day 3 Clear misty blue morning sky greeted us. The remoteness of our location away from usual urban surroundings conveyed a big sense of calmness. Everything here seem unhurried. Our breakfast, though very simple were filling and satisfying. Maybe we were not hard pressed to dash to our office desks. Like
schoolkids going for a field-trip, we were excited to try out the longest
suspended canopy walk in the world. Fear and excitement crowded my mind in a
big gush as I stepped into the first canopy plank. Walking over the
suspension bridge offered stomach-butterflies-inducing views of the dense
jungle below. At certain stretch of the walk, we were some 21 metres above
up the ground and the pararoma views from the platforms were simply
breathtaking. Phang was busy snapping pictures away
We had a merry time dipping in one of the clear stream. I even got the opportunity to photograph a young kelah and a wild tiger barb swimming in the stream.
We soon bade good bye to Taman Negara and started our return journey home, not before another short dip at the resort’s pool.
We stopped for the last time at the McDonalds to wrap-up our nature-theme ride. All in, we covered 1250km of great Malaysian roads. I am blessed with the company of good friends who share the same great passion for motobiking. To fellow Bagsters, thanks for a great time and a great adventure together. Incidentally the world celebrated 07.07.07 with calls to reduce global warming and appreciation to mother nature. Can’t wait for the new Gua Musang to Kenyir link to open and we have another mouth watering ride from Sg Pulai to Kenyir
