We stopped at Simpang Durian for a brief break. Simpang Durian as in most of the small village towns we passed along Route 9, was made up of few rows of old time shop houses. When we reached Simpang Durian, we had actually crossed three states of Malaysia in one morning.

Thankfully, the poor wet weather cleared up after Simpang Durian and we were able to increase our riding pace for once. We turned off at Simpang Pertang to join Route 86 to Kuala Klawang for our lunch stop. Route 86 was surprisingly good for motorbiking. Clean and smooth road surfaces made sub 110 km/h riding a breeze.

We reached Kuala Klawang about noon and on target for lunch. Unfortunately, there wasn’t much choices in Kuala Klawang to dine. I was looking for a cool air-conditioned place to chill. Riding in polyurethane suit was no fun. Though it did and excellent job of keeping  rain out, it also unfortunately locked our body temperature in causing my body to sweat profusely. So, I was actually wet both inside and out.

We finally had our lunch at our usual stop, Restoran Fatimah which was located in central Kuala Klawang. Food was decent and cheap and there were plenty of parking spaces for motorbikes

It was still relatively early for the day and we were on good timing to Rashid’s kenduri later in the afternoon. We decided to ride back to Titi to have some back road fun as the whole morning had been pretty dull. The piggy trail road from Titi Kong to Ulu Langat is one of the best weekend riding road within 100 km radius of Kuala Lumpur.

We had a jolly time riding through the winding road. Luckily, Zeus decided to grant us a dry return trip back to Kuala Lumpur and we took advantage of the dry road to pump up some adrenaline.

Nature call forced me to take a short detour to Semenyih Dam recreational park. As we reached the park, the sky threw up again forcing us to change back to rain suits.

The road from Semenyih Dam to Ulu Langat Pekan Batu 14 would be fun to ride too if not for the rain.

We decided to stop at the Ulu Langat Look-out Point to take a break from the rain. Unta has been very nice to our constant stoppings.

Other than myself and Unta, the rest of the gang has not been there before. So, it was a good choice to stop for a drink and puff.

I were pleasantly surprised with the new look Look-out Point. The restaurant on the hill top overlooking Kuala Lumpur’s landscape served decent 'Keluang' coffee. If not for the noisy and loud techno music, the place would been ideal for a nice place to unwind.

As the sky was not showing sign of clearing up, we decided to give Rashid’s makan a miss. It was no fun to continue to wear wet clothes to a party.
