Bagan Lalang

20 Aug 2006

Unta been inviting us to his Chateau EL Unta at Bagan Lalang. So, here I am. In Bagan Lalang alone and pretty wet. Unta sms to inform that the weather wasn't very good. Then again, I have to burn some rubbers to get the bike's engine properly break-in. Figured the 200 plus km riding and goofing would do good to me

I rode to Bagan Lalang via Kajang Silk Highway to join into NS Highway. Weather was still pretty cool and bright when I slipped to Nilai town to get to Sepang. I finally hit a slight drizzle before Sepang. The light drizzle grew and  intensified to a steady rain when I reached Bagan Lalang. With jeans wet and no clue about the location of Chateau, I stopped at mamak shop for a hot teh tarik and roti chanai

First ride in the wet. Bike coped reasonably well on the wet roads

A quick phone call to Unta made him scrambled to the teh tarik joint in a flash.

We re-adjourned to another road side joint for another round of hot coffee and nasi lemak. Nice..

Unta's house in Bagan Lalang is pretty well furnished. A 3 bedrooms semi-detached house nicely chilled with aircon. I even managed to catch an episode of the OCC Gang over discovery Channel.

Unta didn't grumble a bit when I made full use of his hospitality by taking the opportunity to give my bike a good hose to rinse off the dirt and grime picked up earlier during the ride in the rain.

Unta came in shorts ... talking about safe riding

At the Bagan Lalang Beach .. the rain didn't deter anyone from enjoying the beach
