Save for a slight haze still choking the morning air, we practically had the road to ourselves. I guess most were probably at shopping centers doing last minute Raya/Deepavali shoppings

We slipped into Lembah Beringin exit just before Tg Malim exit hoping to find a short cut to KKB.

Gap Rest house, a quaint Brit Colony era house with 8 rooms for rent

Luckily I didn't listen to my uncle's advise to buy a house there as the place is practically a little spooky  town. Houses half constructed and abandoned gave the place a surreal eerie feeling and it was only morning. I can't imagine riding through here at night.

In fact we were lost for a moment in Lembah Beringin as the road signs were not marked at all

We managed to find the exit via Kelling rubber plantation estate village. Saved for occasional lorries carrying raw rubber sheets, the surprising good but narrow road leading to main Tgmalim/KKBtrunk road is decent for riding. Mat Rempits can easily make themselves  home here
