     Cameron Highlands 1-2 Feb 04

Our first planned trip for 2004. Cheev dropped out 11th hour leaving David, Ben and myself leaving for Cameron Highlands at approx  645am on FT Day. I took my GPZ despite the rear tire was leaking air slowly.  

Though I been to CH a dozens times to the extend it's like my 2nd home-town, there is always something special to explore on a bike. Guess with the opening of the new road from Simpang Pulai, there would be more bikers cruising up to this hill.   

1/2 Way Up at Lata Iskandar

Reaching the Perak-Pahang border

Arriving Tapah reststop at about 9am 

First CH stop at Cameron Valley

    

Refueling before hitting the highway again. 

Waiting for the local Orang Asli to clear a fallen tree.  Apparently, they charged each passing car up to RM2 for the 'work' done.. don't think everyone mind anyway as waiting for JKR to clear the road would probably take forever as it's Hari Raya Haji morning
